Training

David limits himself to a select number of dogs and handlers per group,enabling him to concentrate more time to assess the individual training needs of each dog. A general account of the nature, temperament and ability of each dog is essential in the early stages of training and with young dogs the basic foundations must be laid in order to succeed at later stages. Confidence building within his training plays a key role which helps all dogs perform to the best of their abilities.All of these factors are essential in order to have any success in developing the dogs working ability and experience.

David provides a first class training ground to cover most aspects of gundog training. This consists of a two acre rabbit pen, blocks of game crop, water, safe fences to jump, woodland and meadowland. He also provides a 1 to 1 or group tuition service most weekends.
